Every morning we start the day with music.

Sometimes it is me at the piano,

or a tape of kids songs.

Sometimes a cd that I like,

we go with whatever feels right for the day.

I offered to show Emily how to play but

she wasn't interested in finger position.

I can't blame her.

I was very excited when Emily asked for help playing.

Grabbed the colored dots, a quick explanation,

and she played.

It was slow of course but it was correct!
