Horse Lessons

Emily LOVES horses. She can't get enough. We visit the base stables once a week where she rides the ponies, feeds the horses with my help and watches the riders jump horses. Sometimes we go when they are bathing. Emily is slowly making friends with all of the hands so we don't have to pay for feeding the horses. (Actually we don't pay to ride the horses either because the ladies are impressed I bring her and walk with her being 7 months pregnant).

Colin took us to San Diego for the afternoon. We ate snack outside while he dropped off paperwork at the hospital. Life is good.

Well, it was more like exploring and having fun but a lot of work was done when Emily wasn't around.

Vacation

Emily and Mommy
In the Columbia museum, kids can dress up in miner's clothes. We were told that they would never smile for a picture because it was a formal event. So Emily didn't smile. She loved the bonnet and even wore a petticoat.

Our all American girl.

What a face!
Emily and daddy posing on the wagon in Columbia. It's a quaint historic city that takes pride in it's miner heritage. My grandma lives in an old miner's shack that my uncle renovated. We love visiting. Plus it is another place that Colin and I grew up visiting and may have passed each other at kids.
Emily and Knight got along after she accepted his loud barking. They weigh the same amount so sometimes she would walk him and sometimes he would walk her.
Grandma and Emily in their gardening clothes. Notice the zuchinni. It was delicious.
