I love this expression. It doesn't really say much but it is so her. Sweet and interested in everything. Brooke and Piper. Piper enjoyed her ride more than this picture showed.
Emily, Piper and Jude attended a sing-a-long at Pottery Barn. Mothers accompanied if you are wondering. Emily sat in this chair and loved it. She did not want to leave. She could have cared less about the singing, but she loved this chair. I almost bought it she enjoyed it so much.
Emily also enjoys riding in her backpack. Colin has taken her running on the beach a few times recently. It was funny to see her try to climb in the backpack. Another favorite item is the accompanying tape recorder. If you have never seen her dance, you are missing out.
We have definently hit the stage where she wants me to read to her. All the time. Often the same book. It's super cute when she grabs a book and sits on my lap. I can't help but use my very best reading skills.
Emily's guests included Aunt Heidi, Aunt Laurie, Ric, Jeri and Langenwalters. Emily loved her apple cake. It was sugar free of course. I am rather proud of this cute sign. Look for it the next 17 birthdays. Ric and Jeri playing the piano with Emily. Who knew that Ric is a Cat Fancy reader?
