We have had many tea parties recently. 

Some with friends.
Especially our new neighbors.

It is just the excuse I need to bake something delicious 

and talk in a proper voice 

and review table manners.

I once was asked what I would do if I found out I only had a short time to live.

"Have a party everyday" was my answer.  

And we do have a party most days.

Usually small and even with out guests.

Life is nicer when I take the time to do something special and unnecessary.
