If you give a kid some shaving cream.

They will likely smear it all over, even in their eyes.

And if they smear it in their eyes, they will start to cry and ask for a towel.

And if they ask for a towel.....

 you get the idea.

Our garden is blooming.

It is special for a mama to braid her girl's hair.
Extra special to do it while watching a favorite movie.

She sat  still watching Ms Elizabeth Bennett and Ms Jane Bennett.

She loved that they are sisters like her and Katie.

She loved that one of them had my name and looks like me.

She loved their cross necklaces and ask for one.

To which I immediately started looking for just the right little gold cross to give my girl.

A happy family is an early heaven.

This isn't mean, right?

 I don't want to be a mean mom. 

She insisted on eating the onion. 

Rather determined.  

I'm tired to trying to convince her that I know best. 

Maybe now she will trust me.

Meet Bella!

 Our black Labrador.  So sweet.  

Doesn't bark. Doesn't jump.  Doesn't slobber.  

Bella is beautiful. 

Katie is excited.

Princess Emily is having a blast.  

Bella knows I'm boss.  She responds best to a sweet voice. 

She wants to be next to me a lot.  

Ignored Colin at first.  She is so calm we thought she might be drugged.  

Seriously.

Bella is loving. Super snuggler. 

Came to us excellently trained. We are so happy with Bella! 

 

Nothing to say.

I don't even need to talk anymore.

Emily talks enough for all of us.

Katie is right behind her.

She is picking up all the important little phrases such as

"all done"

"where is it"

"daddy"

"emmy" 

Daddy is coming home soon.

The girls wait for Daddy. 

We don't usually pick him up so it is fun to watch the planes come and go.

 

For E's bday, I made this farm gift.

Super fun to play with her and listen to how she makes the animals play together.

So I made another one.

Dinosaur themed.

With tar pits and a volcano.

The tar pits happen to be under Katie's right foot.

They seem to enjoy it.

Maybe for the next one I'll do a pirate theme.  I'll keep you posted.
