Emily and Bugsy

Another day at the stables. Today we watched the horses get new shoes and be groomed.

Getting ready for baby.

Soon baby Bump will arrive. We are doing some last minute painting. Emily had to help and did a great job.

Emily kissing Jill's hand and holding Lucy

We spent the afternoon with the adorable Gibson kids. Henry and Emily shared toys easily. Emily is ready to be a big sister to both girls. She sang to them, kissed them, held them.

Emily Elizabeth with Clifford and Fraulein Emily

For Halloween Ric and Jeri came over as Harvey Bird Man and Jesse from Saved By The Bell. A picture will come later. We met the local families. That was fun. My Emily Elizabeth dressed as Emily Elizabeth from Clifford. It's perfect because she loves Clifford and even looks like the little girl.

The Stepp Stables had a pony sweep with appropriately dressed horses. Fraulein Emily dressed in her dirndl. Yes she had two costumes. I can't help but find reasons for her to wear as many cute outfits as possible.

We are getting ready for Halloween...

Dad is in charge of the pumpkin carving. I am in charge of roasting the seeds. Emily will supervise and help.

Emily was not happy that Nana and Poppa were leaving. So she wouldn't smile.

Thanks for all the hard work around the house.

A quick outing to Coranado beach

We made a quick trip to the airport and decided to stop by the beach. We didn't have our swim suits with us but it was fun to look for sand dollars.

The best parts of my day are the little moments.

Emily taking care of baby. Love the new piggy pjs.
Emily watching the horse jumping. She has her English riding boots on in the picture. Daddy bought her western boots for when she grows out of these.
Emily ready to feed the horses. She didn't want to stand to close too the horses because they grab the carrots.

The latest additions to our family...

Meet Fishy (aka Orange) and Lala. Fishy has adapted to life with us easily. He particularly enjoyed Emily feeding him an entire years worth of food in just a few minutes.
You may have trouble seeing Lala. She is pink and white except when she is blue. She joins us on all car rides and can run faster than most cars. Lala is very well behaved but sometimes she bites. When Lala is bad, she is put in the glove box or closet. Sometimes Emily will spend 10 minutes trying to find Lala. She is a tricky kitty.
