Palm Springs

Monica, Patience (Punkin), Maggie (Monkey), Emily and me at Palm Springs. We lounged by the pool most of the time but our favorite activity was taking the aerial tram. (The nicknames in parenthesis have been chosen by Emily)

Anaheim Angels game

Summer is in full swing here. We enjoyed a game with Ric and Jeri even if the Angels lost. Emily had a blast but I don't think she saw any part of the game.

Disneyland

Disneyland was a lot of fun.
Waiting in line for the Tiki Room, these two pretended to be surprised. I think the Tiki Room barely beat out the Jungle Cruise for Emily's favorite.
And of course, the carousel was a blast.

Legoland part one

Our day at Legoland was a lot of fun. They have some really cool legos, Emily liked Bob the Builder. And they have a small aquarium that is very kid friendly. And of course there were plenty of chances to play with legos.

Legoland part 2

While Colin, Becky, Jessica and Patience rode the adult roller coaster, Monica and I headed to kiddy land.

I only included one picture of Minature Land. It was amazing to see everything from farms, to the Las Vegas strip, to Washington D.C. to Daytona all in legos.

Legoland part 3

By far one of the coolest lego exhibits was this dragon. It had a huge horn like thing that kids would yell into and make the dragon speak. Colin and Jessica rode these machines that were crazy. Think of a 25 foot mechanical arm that has two seats attached to the end. It moved them around, jerking back and forth, stopping mid-swing, they spent most of the time upside down. You have to see the video!

Also went on safari. The animals were really cool, sorry I can't begin to show all of them.

We had a great day!

She picked out a color and painted away. And she was very proud of her accomplishment. I like the color.
